Serums hydrate, restore, and nourish the skin, especially skin which suffers from lack of collagen and elasticity. Moisturizers tend to lay on top of the skin. Serums absorb deep into the skin, adding powerful vitamins and antioxidants for nourishing, sun protecting, and firming properties.
RECOMMEND: Use daily for the first two to three weeks to effectively experience the change while determining how to use the serums for your particular needs. After initial daily usage, bi-weekly application is more than enough to keep those deeper layers of skin hydrated and plump.
We make two two serums, using 100% pure organic oils. Both use the same essential oils, but with a different base (carrier) oil. Rosehip Oil is perfect for day time use, while the thicker, rich texture of Emu Oil is perfect for nighttime use. Use these serums however your skin needs their nourishing powers.
ESSENTIAL OILS:
Frankincense: antiseptic, tones and lifts skin, reduces appearance of wrinkles, fades scarring, eliminates sun spots, removes micro-wrinkles around the eyes and cheeks, replaces old or dying cells with new healthy cells.
Rose: astringent, reduces scarring, heals skin, circulation, purifies blood, and prevents internal bacterial infections
Sandalwood: anti-inflammatory, antiseptic, astringent, emollient, heals scars and reduces age spots, strengthens muscles and gums
Helichrysum: anti-inflammatory, heals cuts, fades scars, antiseptic, emollient, prevents dehydration and cracking skin, smooths and moisturizes the skin
Geranium: circulation, astringent, tonic, anti-inflammatory, contracts skin, fades scars and age spots, promotes distribution of melanin.
Lavender: treats acne, heals skin, circulation, boosts immunity
CARRIER OIL:
Emu Oil: A powerhouse oil used to protect skin from sun damage and to promote more youthful looking skin. It helps reduce inflammation, improves circulation, heals wounds, cuts, and burns, reduces bruises and redness due to acne; and softens dry cuticles and promotes healthy nails.
HOW TO USE:
Gently shake prior to use. Apply two – three drops of serum on clean fingertips and dab on trouble areas (fine line areas) first, then gently smooth over the rest of your freshly washed face and décolletage area, OR (recommended), apply on freshly washed skin that has been spritzed with a hydrating spray (I use this alcohol-free witch hazel which is excellent).
If using as a day serum allow a minute or two for the product to absorb completely before applying your moisturizer (if needed) and your makeup.
If applying before bedtime, be sure to complete your regimen long before your face hits your pillow to allow maximum absorption time before your face rests on your pillow.
Facial serums have a shelf life of one year. Store them in a drawer or dark place to retain freshness.
